Bahrain Coffee Festival Showcases Local Coffee Projects and Global Brands


Manama: Visitors to the first Bahrain Coffee Festival expressed that the event served as a valuable platform to explore the speciality coffee industry, highlighting the growing strength of local coffee projects alongside international brands.



According to Bahrain News Agency, attendees noted that the diversity of participating caf©s, roasters, and suppliers enhanced their experience and showcased the latest products, equipment, and innovations in the sector. They observed that the festival provided a clear insight into the full coffee value chain, creating opportunities for learning, networking, and potential partnerships.



Visitors also pointed out the strong presence of Bahraini youth-led projects, stating that local brands demonstrated competitiveness, creativity, and professional standards on par with global names, reflecting the sector’s development in the Kingdom.



Several attendees praised the organisation of the festival and its specialised competitions, which they said highlighted Bahraini talent in brewing, roasting, and tasting. This aspect of the festival provided aspiring entrepreneurs with a clearer understanding of market needs and business models.



The first Bahrain Coffee Festival, held at Exhibition World Bahrain, drew a strong public turnout and featured more than 100 local, regional, and international coffee brands. With dedicated areas for caf©s, roasters, suppliers, and equipment companies, the festival supported youth initiatives in the speciality coffee sector.
