Bahrain Celebrates Gulf Nursing Day to Honor Healthcare Contributions

Manama: The Kingdom of Bahrain is celebrating Gulf Nursing Day, observed annually on March 13, to highlight the vital role of the nursing profession and its contributions to the healthcare sector. The Gulf Health Council's designation of Gulf Nursing Day reflects appreciation for the dedication and service of nursing professionals across the Gulf region.

According to Bahrain News Agency, it recognises their commitment to patient care and public health while emphasising the role of nursing in advancing healthcare systems. The occasion also underscores the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Health Ministers' support for this humanitarian profession and its impact on advancing healthcare services.

The Ministry of Health emphasised the key role of nursing in healthcare and commended nursing professionals for their dedication, compassion, and perseverance in providing high-quality patient care.
