Bahrain Braces for Strong Winds and Rising Sand Conditions

Manama: The Meteorological Directorate has issued a forecast indicating hot weather during the day with fine conditions overnight across Bahrain. However, residents should prepare for rising sand in certain areas after midnight, which may affect visibility.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the wind conditions are expected to change significantly throughout the day. The winds will be mainly southeasterly at 5 to 10 knots, increasing to 12 to 17 knots by evening. After midnight, the winds will shift to northwesterly at 17 to 22 knots, occasionally reaching 22 to 27 knots. A warning has been issued for strong winds, urging residents and visitors to exercise caution.

The sea state is anticipated to be moderate to rough, with inshore conditions ranging from 1 to 3 feet, while offshore areas may experience waves between 4 to 7 feet. Temperatures in Bahrain are expected to reach a maximum of 40 ºC during the day, with a minimum of 27 ºC overnight. Humidity levels will vary, with a maximum of 70% and a minimum of 20%.
