Bahrain Braces for Strong Winds and Rising Sand

Manama: The Meteorological Directorate has issued a forecast for fine weather accompanied by rising sand in certain areas. Residents are advised to prepare for potentially challenging weather conditions throughout the day.

According to Bahrain News Agency, northwesterly winds are expected to blow at speeds of 12 to 17 knots, reaching up to 20 to 25 knots, with further increases to 25 to 30 knots at times. A warning has been issued for very strong winds, urging caution for those who may be affected.

The sea state is anticipated to be 2 to 3 feet inshore, while offshore conditions could see waves reaching 4 to 8 feet. Temperatures are forecasted to reach a high of 34ºC and a low of 25ºC, with humidity levels ranging from a maximum of 65% to a minimum of 20%.
