Manama: Bahrain Bourse, a licensed exchange regulated by the Central Bank of Bahrain, has announced a strategic partnership with IDX, a global leader in corporate and investor relations websites, to enhance digital investor relations capabilities for companies listed on the Bahrain Bourse. This partnership aims to support listed companies in improving disclosure and transparency standards, thereby strengthening engagement with the investment community and increasing the market's attractiveness to investors. According to Bahrain News Agency, the collaboration focuses on enhancing the digital presence of investor relations for listed companies by aligning investor relations digital platforms with best practices and global standards. This initiative is expected to facilitate access to relevant company information and improve the overall investor experience. IDX will play a crucial role by enhancing the presentation of key areas such as a company's equity story, governance framework, strategic direction, sustai nability initiatives, and financial performance. As part of the collaboration, IDX will conduct a market-wide assessment of investor relations websites of Bahrain Bourse-listed companies and provide participating issuers with practical assessments and recommendations to improve their digital investor communications and market presentation. The programme will also feature educational workshops and issuer engagement sessions to support listed companies in understanding the evolving investor expectations and digital discovery behaviours globally. Shaikha Alzayani, Senior Director of Listing and Disclosure at Bahrain Bourse, emphasized the increasing importance of digital investor relations in how companies are discovered, assessed, and understood. James Taylor, Head of Middle East at IDX, noted that corporate and investor relations websites are evolving into critical infrastructure for institutional research workflows, AI systems, and digital discovery journeys. Through this partnership, IDX aims to support Ba hrain Bourse in helping issuers strengthen their digital communication with the market. Currently, IDX manages nearly 4,000 corporate and investor relations websites globally, supporting some of the largest listed companies across Europe, North America, the Middle East, and Asia. The collaboration is expected to lead to broader issuer engagement programmes and future initiatives focused on digital disclosure, investor accessibility, and AI-driven investor communications.
