Bahrain and UK Strengthen Strategic Partnership Through High-Level Meeting

Manama: His Highness Lieutenant Commander Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa met today with His Excellency Alastair Long, the Ambassador of the United Kingdom to the Kingdom of Bahrain. The meeting highlighted the longstanding strategic partnership between Bahrain and the United Kingdom, focusing on the depth of their multisectoral collaboration. According to Bahrain News Agency, His Highness emphasized the Kingdom's commitment to strengthening bilateral ties, supported by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and Prime Minister. The commitment to achieving shared aspirations was also highlighted during the discussions. His Highness discussed the development of relations between Bahrain and the UK across various sectors and the mutual dedication to advancing cooperation for the benefit of both nations. The meeting covered ways to enhance bilateral relations, along with discussions on issues of common interest and regional and global developments. Lieutenant Colonel Royal Marines Simon Cole, the Defence attaché at the British Embassy, was in attendance at the meeting, further underscoring the military and defence collaboration between the two countries.
