Bahrain and Russia Forge MoUs for Fuel and Energy Technology Cooperation

Saint Petersburg: The Kingdom of Bahrain and the Russian Federation have signed memorandums of understanding (MoUs) to foster cooperation in fuel and energy sector technologies and equipment. These agreements were concluded between the ministries of industry and commerce of both nations.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the MoUs aim to bolster collaboration in the fuel and energy sectors, rooted in principles of equality and mutual benefit. The signing ceremony was held on the sidelines of the Saint Petersburg International Economic Forum 2025, where Bahrain is participating as the Guest of Honour from June 18 to 21.

Abdullah bin Adel Fakhro, Bahrain's Minister of Industry and Commerce, emphasized the consistent growth of historical relations between Bahrain and Russia. He highlighted the ongoing commitment to enhancing coordination across multiple sectors.

Fakhro further stated that the MoUs are expected to expand trade and investment cooperation, opening up new opportunities that align with the shared interests of both countries.
