Manama: The first round of political consultations between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic was conducted remotely today. The meeting aimed to fortify bilateral relations and enhance cooperation across various sectors.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the consultations were co-chaired by Shaikh Abdullah bin Ali Al Khalifa, Director General of Bilateral Relations at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Temirbek Erkinov, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan. The discussions focused on strengthening ties in political, economic, and cultural domains to benefit both nations and their citizens. The delegations also reviewed regional and international developments and exchanged views on topics of mutual interest.
The meeting saw participation from notable diplomats, including Dr. Mohammed Ghassan Mohammed Adnan Sheikho, Bahrain's Ambassador to Kyrgyzstan, who resides in Beijing; Ulukbek Maripov, Kyrgyzstan's Ambassador to Bahrain, residing in Riyadh; and Muneera Nofal Al Doseri, Chief of Asian and Pacific Affairs at Bahrain's Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
