Bahrain and Kuwait Foreign Ministers Discuss Regional Security and Cooperation

Manama: Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Bahrain's Minister of Foreign Affairs, engaged in a telephone call with Abdullah Ali Al Yahya, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kuwait. During the call, the ministers focused on strengthening bilateral relations, cooperation, and coordination to enhance joint efforts in various sectors serving shared interests.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the conversation also covered recent developments in the region, specifically the military escalation between Israel and Iran. The ministers highlighted the implications of this escalation for regional security and stability. They emphasized the necessity of a unified Gulf stance and the importance of intensifying diplomatic efforts to de-escalate tensions. Additionally, they stressed the significance of ongoing US-Iran negotiations concerning the Iranian nuclear program to maintain regional peace and stability.
