Bahrain and Jordanian Foreign Ministers Discuss Regional Security Over Phone

Manama: Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bahrain, engaged in a telephone conversation with Ayman Safadi, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign and Expatriates Affairs of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. The discussion focused on cooperation and coordination between the two nations.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the ministers explored ways to enhance joint efforts across various domains to serve shared interests. The conversation also included a review of regional developments, specifically addressing the ongoing military escalation between Israel and Iran and its implications for regional security and stability.

Both ministers emphasized the need to reduce tensions, halt escalation, and continue US-Iran negotiations regarding the Iranian nuclear programme. These measures are considered crucial for preserving peace and stability in the region.
