Bahrain and Cyprus Convene Third Round of Political Consultations

Nicosia: The third round of political consultations between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Cyprus took place today in Nicosia. This meeting was co-chaired by Ambassador Shaikh Abdullah bin Ali Al Khalifa, Director General of Bilateral Relations at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Thessalia Salina Shambos, Special Representative of the Republic of Cyprus for Religious Freedoms and Protection of Minorities in the Middle East.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the two sides emphasized their commitment to further strengthening bilateral relations across political, economic, and cultural sectors. They discussed advancing cooperation in a manner that benefits the mutual interests of both countries and their peoples.

During the consultations, the delegations also exchanged views on the latest regional and international developments. They reviewed coordination on topics of mutual interest, aiming to enhance collaboration between the two nations.
