Manama: Bahrain All Share Index has closed at 2,040.32 points, marking an increase of 0.52 points above the previous closing. This increase was due to the rise in the communication service sector and material sector. Bahrain Islamic Index has closed at 987.46 points, marking a decrease of 8.46 points below the previous closing.
According to Bahrain News Agency, results indicated that 155 equity transactions took place with a volume of 31,204,067 worth BD 7,311,154. Investors traded mainly in the financial sector, representing 90.17% of the total value of securities traded.
