Bahrain All Share Index Rises as Islamic Index Declines


Manama: Bahrain All Share Index has closed at 1,909.01 points, marking an increase of 2.75 points above the previous closing. This rise was attributed to the performance of the industrials, materials, and real estate sectors.



According to Bahrain News Agency, the Bahrain Islamic Index closed at 921.87 points, reflecting a decrease of 1.94 points from its previous closing. The market activity included 140 equity transactions with a trading volume of 747,795 shares, amounting to BD 369,886.



Investors showed significant interest in the materials sector, which accounted for 60.72% of the total value of securities traded.
