Manama: Bahrain All Share Index has closed at 1,921.11 points, marking an increase of 0.59 points above the previous closing. This slight uptick was primarily driven by gains in the consumer discretionary, financial, and real estate sectors.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the Bahrain Islamic Index remained steady, closing at 805.55 points, showing no change from its previous closing. Market activity showed that a total of 51 equity transactions took place, involving a trading volume of 1,359,427 shares valued at BD 347,755.
Investors showed a particular interest in the financial sector, which accounted for 65.91% of the total value of securities traded.
