Manama: Bahrain All Share Index has closed at 1,977.39 points, marking a decrease of 1.89 points below the previous closing. This decline was attributed to downturns in the communications service sector, the consumer discretionary sector, and the financial sector.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the Bahrain Islamic Index concluded at 775.70 points, experiencing a decrease of 2.70 points compared to its previous closing. The trading activity was recorded with 59 equity transactions, involving a volume of 804,454 shares valued at BD 286,104.
The financial sector was the focal point for investors, accounting for 62.81% of the total value of securities traded.
