Manama: Bahrain All Share Index has closed at 1,962.09 points, marking a decrease of 2.86 points below the previous closing. This decrease was due to the drop in the communication services sector and the financial sector.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the Bahrain Islamic Index closed at 825.10 points, marking a decrease of 0.97 points below the previous closing. Results indicated that 62 equity transactions took place with a volume of 1,523,531 worth BD 795,480.
Investors traded mainly in the material sector, representing 51.38% of the total value of securities traded.
