Manama: Bahrain All Share Index has closed at 1,946.83 points, marking a decrease of 6.41 points below the previous closing. This decline is attributed to the drop in the communications services sector, the consumer discretionary sector, the financial sector, and the material sector.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the Bahrain Islamic Index has also shown a decrease, closing at 855.39 points, which is 1.71 points lower than the previous closing. The results indicated that 92 equity transactions took place, with a trading volume of 3,044,663, amounting to BD 585,903.
Investors predominantly traded in the financial sector, which represented 80.06% of the total value of securities traded.
