Bahrain All Share Index Declines While Islamic Index Sees Gains

Manama: Bahrain All Share Index closed at 2,035.27 points, marking a decrease of 15.08 points below the previous closing. This decline was attributed to the drop in the financial sector and the materials sector.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the Bahrain Islamic Index, however, closed at 1,002.44 points, marking an increase of 2.46 points above the previous closing. The results indicated that 98 equity transactions took place with a volume of 4,736,938 shares worth BHD 930,487.

Investors primarily focused their trading activities in the financial sector, which represented 85.14% of the total value of securities traded.
