Bahrain All Share Index Declines, Islamic Index Sees Gains

Manama: The Bahrain All Share Index experienced a slight decline, closing at 1,971.70 points, which is a decrease of 0.33 points from its previous closing. This downturn was primarily influenced by a drop in the communication services and financial sectors.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the Bahrain Islamic Index countered this trend by closing higher at 823.12 points, marking an increase of 2.51 points from its previous closing. Market activity showed that 48 equity transactions occurred with a total volume of 1,171,616, amounting to BD 354,177 in value. Trading was predominantly concentrated in the financial sector, which accounted for 41.41% of the total value of securities traded.
