Manama: Bahrain All Share Index has closed at 2,066.20 points, marking a decrease of 8.99 points below the previous closing. This downturn was driven by declines in the communications service sector, the financial sector, the industrial sector, and the material sector.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the Bahrain Islamic Index, in contrast, experienced a rise, closing at 1,010.62 points, an increase of 1.70 points above the previous closing. The trading session saw 95 equity transactions with a volume of 2,515,123, amounting to BD 552,161.
Investors focused primarily on the financial sector, which accounted for 61.75% of the total value of securities traded during the session.
