Manama: Bahrain All Share Index has closed at 2,048.17 points, marking a decrease of 4.03 points below the previous closing. This decrease was due to a drop in the communications services sector and the financials sector.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the Bahrain Islamic Index has closed at 1,022.70 points, marking an increase of 1.24 points above the previous closing. Results indicated that 73 equity transactions took place with a volume of 1,673,329 worth BD 624,481.
Investors traded mainly in the financials sector, representing 86.86% of the total value of securities traded.
