Manama: Bahrain All Share Index has closed at 1,944.46 points, marking a decrease of 0.74 points below the previous closing. This decrease was due to a drop in the material sector.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Bahrain Islamic Index closed at 860.63 points, marking an increase of 2.88 points above the previous closing. Results indicated that 55 equity transactions took place with a volume of 619,253 worth BD 200,171.
Investors traded mainly in the financial sector, representing 57.65% of the total value of securities traded.
