Manama: Bahrain All Share Index has closed at 1,910.16 points, marking an increase of 5.73 points above the previous closing. This upward movement was attributed to gains in the communication services sector and the financial sector.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the Bahrain Islamic Index also showed progress, closing at 792.88 points with an increase of 3.07 points from its last close. This positive performance was supported by a total of 54 equity transactions, involving a volume of 1,207,174, valued at BD 290,409.
The financial sector was the main area of focus for investors, accounting for 75.99% of the total value of securities traded. This significant activity within the financial sector was a driving force behind the overall gains observed in the market.
