Manama: Bahrain All Share Index has closed at 2,062.90 points, marking an increase of 14.91 points above the previous closing. This increase was due to the rise in the communications services sector, the financial sector and the materials sector.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the Bahrain Islamic Index has also shown a positive trend, closing at 1,018.40 points, marking an increase of 16.32 points above the previous closing. Results indicated that 155 equity transactions took place with a volume of 6,966,184 worth BD 2,110,091.
Investors traded mainly in the financial sector, representing 67.62% of the total value of securities traded.
