Manama: Bahrain All Share Index has closed at 2,078.44 points, marking an increase of 4.51 points above the previous closing. This increase was due to the rise in the communications services sector, the financial sector, the material sector, and the consumer staples sector.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the Bahrain Islamic Index closed at 1,013.69 points, marking a decrease of 13.29 points below the previous closing. Results indicated that 168 equity transactions took place with a volume of 4,417,574 worth BD 1,526,662. Investors traded mainly in the financial sector, representing 55.30% of the total value of securities traded.
