Manama: Bahrain All Share Index has closed at 1,973.62 points, marking an increase of 2.14 points above the previous closing. This increase was due to the rise in the financial sector and the material sector.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Bahrain Islamic Index has closed at 943.43 points, marking an increase of 2.70 points above the previous closing. Results indicated that 104 equity transactions took place with a volume of 8,999,562 worth BD 1,986,847. Investors traded mainly in the financial sector, representing 84.01% of the total value of securities traded.
