Manama: Bahrain All Share Index has closed at 1,918.31 points, marking an increase of 1.92 points above the previous closing. This increase was driven by gains in the communication services sector and the financial sector.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the Bahrain Islamic Index also witnessed an uptick, closing at 807.93 points, an increase of 0.84 points from its previous closing. The trading session saw 86 equity transactions, with a total volume of 1,649,003 and a value of BD 454,321.
Investors showed significant interest in the financial sector, which accounted for 51.61% of the total value of securities traded.
