Manama: Bahrain All Share Index has closed at 1,948.27 points, marking an increase of 9.51 points above the previous closing. This rise was attributed to gains in the Financials Sector, Materials Sector, and Real Estate Sector.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the Bahrain Islamic Index also experienced an upward trend, closing at 966.90 points, an increase of 5.06 points from the previous closing. The trading session saw 86 equity transactions with a total volume of 1,383,940, amounting to BD 420,793 in value.
Investors predominantly focused on the Financials Sector, which represented 73.10% of the total value of securities traded, highlighting a significant interest in this segment of the market.
