Manama: Bahrain All Share Index has closed at 2,028.09 points, marking an increase of 12.16 points above the previous closing. This increase was due to the rise in the communications services sector, the consumer discretionary sector, the financial sector, and the material sector.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the Bahrain Islamic Index has closed at 973.66 points, marking an increase of 1.03 points above the previous closing. Results indicated that 206 equity transactions took place with a volume of 3,548,083 worth BD 1,247,525.
Investors traded mainly in the financial sector, representing 43.59% of the total value of securities traded.
