Manama: Bahrain All Share Index has closed at 2,060.53 points, marking an increase of 4.04 points above the previous closing. This rise was attributed to gains in the financials and materials sectors. According to Bahrain News Agency, the Bahrain Islamic Index also saw an improvement, closing at 1,031.23 points, up by 1.46 points. The trading session witnessed 109 equity transactions with a volume of 2,205,128, totaling BD 1,655,328. Investors showed a strong preference for the materials sector, which accounted for 86.59% of the total value of securities traded.
