Manama: Bahrain All Share Index has closed at 1,978.48 points, marking an increase of 1.22 points above the previous closing. This rise was attributed to a positive performance in the financial sector.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the Bahrain Islamic Index also experienced a gain, closing at 955.84 points, which is an increase of 0.43 points from its previous closing. The day's trading activity included 112 equity transactions with a total volume of 1,630,237, amounting to BD 732,447.
The material sector was the focal point for investors, accounting for 50.49% of the total value of securities traded.
