Manama: Bahrain All Share Index has closed at 1,943.21 points, marking an increase of 6.17 points above the previous closing. This rise was attributed to gains in the financial and material sectors.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the Bahrain Islamic Index also experienced a positive close, reaching 917.45 points, which is an increase of 5.76 points from the prior closing. The trading session saw 75 equity transactions with a trading volume of 2,035,242 and a total value of BD 637,861.
Investors showed a preference for the financial sector, which accounted for 41.02% of the total value of securities traded.
