Manama: Bahrain All Share Index has closed at 1,979.69 points, marking an increase of 0.64 points above the previous closing. This increase was due to a rise in the materials sector.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the Bahrain Islamic Index also experienced a positive shift, closing at 969.04 points, which is an increase of 1.98 points from the previous closing. The market activity was characterized by 100 equity transactions, involving a volume of 1,704,415 with a total worth of BD 786,433.
Investors were predominantly active in the materials sector, which accounted for 73.69% of the total value of securities traded. This significant focus on the materials sector contributed to the overall rise in both indexes.
