Manama: Bahrain All Share Index has closed at 1,949.79 points, marking an increase of 6.36 points above the previous closing. This increase was due to the rise in the financial sector and the industrial sector. Bahrain Islamic Index has also shown positive movement, closing at 806.88 points, a rise of 12.65 points from its prior close.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the market activity was robust, with 76 equity transactions recorded. The trading volume reached 1,395,372, with a total value of BD 348,566. Investors predominantly focused on the financial sector, which accounted for 64.87% of the total value of securities traded.
