Manama: Bahrain All Share Index has closed at 1,932.75 points, marking a decrease of 3.68 points below the previous closing. This downturn was attributed to a drop in the consumer discretionary sector, the financial sector, and the material sector.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the Bahrain Islamic Index also experienced a decline, closing at 907.71 points, which is a decrease of 0.11 points from its previous closing. The trading session saw 77 equity transactions with a volume of 1,681,040, amounting to a total worth of BD 672,820.
Investors showed significant activity in the consumer staple sector, which accounted for 40.54% of the total value of securities traded during the session.
