Manama: Bahrain All Share Index has closed at 1,919.48 points, marking a decrease of 50.56 points below the previous closing. This decrease was due to a drop in the communication services sector, the financial sector, the materials sector, and the consumer staples sector.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the Bahrain Islamic Index has closed at 769.93 points, marking a decrease of 2.90 points below the previous closing. Results indicated that 65 equity transactions took place with a volume of 553,851 worth BD 477,695.
Investors traded mainly in the Materials Sector, representing 82.03% of the total value of securities traded.
