Bahrain All Share and Islamic Indexes Decline Due to Sector Drops

Manama: Bahrain All Share Index has recorded a close at 1,999.42 points, representing a reduction of 11.48 points from the prior closing figure. This decline was attributed to downturns in the communications services, financial, and material sectors. According to Bahrain News Agency, the Bahrain Islamic Index also experienced a decrease, closing at 940.30 points, which is 14.26 points lower than its previous closing. The trading session saw 78 equity transactions with a volume of 1,142,448, amounting to BD 372,688. The financial sector was the primary focus for investors, accounting for 67.84% of the total value of securities traded.
