Manama: Bahrain All Share Index has closed at 1,911.54 points, marking an increase of 2.87 points above the previous closing. This rise was attributed to gains in the communication services, financial, and consumer staple sectors.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the Bahrain Islamic Index also saw positive movement, closing at 807.36 points with an increase of 2.86 points above the previous closing. The trading session witnessed 113 equity transactions involving a volume of 3,116,406, totaling BD 722,610 in value.
Investors focused their trading activities primarily on the financial sector, which accounted for 64.45% of the total value of securities traded, highlighting the sector's dominance in the market activity.
