Jeddah: Australia defeated Lebanon 93-80 on Friday in the second round of Group A matches in the first stage of the FIBA Asia Cup, currently taking place in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
According to Bahrain News Agency, after opening its title defence with a 97-61 victory over South Korea in Group A, and now overcoming runner-up Lebanon, Australia aims to secure a third consecutive title, which would make it the first team to achieve the feat in 20 years.
