Auditor General Meets Director General of Bahrain Institute of Public Administration

Manama: Shaikh Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Auditor General of the National Audit Office (NAO), received Dr. Shaikha Rana bint Isa bin Duaij Al Khalifa, Director General of the Bahrain Institute of Public Administration (IPA), to discuss means to strengthen cooperation and coordination between the two entities.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the Auditor General reaffirmed the office's continued commitment to coordinating with all ministries and government bodies under its remit, with the aim of ensuring the implementation of its recommendations in line with recognised international standards. This approach seeks to enhance performance, service quality, and operational efficiency across the public sector.

He noted the NAO's constructive methodology in preparing audit reports and expressed interest in expanding coordination with relevant institutions to further embed the principles of integrity, transparency, and professionalism. These efforts contribute to the objectives of the Kingdom's comprehensive development process, led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and supported by the follow-up of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.

Shaikh Ahmed bin Mohammed commended the performance of IPA and its contributions to developing national leadership across both the public and private sectors.

On her part, Dr. Shaikha Rana bint Isa affirmed IPA's interest in expanding cooperation with the NAO, particularly in the area of training, to support shared goals in capacity-building and institutional development.
