Manama: Dr. Ali bin Fadhl Al Buainain, Attorney General, received the 2025 mid year report on the Public Prosecution's social care initiative "Reaya" (Care) from Prosecutor Fahad Al Rumaihi, Director of the initiative. The meeting was attended by Wael Buallay, Chief Prosecutor and Assistant Attorney General, along with several members of the Public Prosecution.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Al Rumaihi presented the report, which covered 173 new cases enrolled during the first half of the year. These included 74 children, 15 women, 28 men, and 17 families totaling 56 individuals. Beneficiaries received a range of integrated services tailored to their specific circumstances, including social, psychological, health, educational, legal, and financial support.
He noted that in the coming period, the initiative seeks to broaden its network of partners and strengthen its operational frameworks to keep pace with evolving social needs, while promoting long-term sustainability in service delivery. He emphasized that Reaya's success has been driven by the strong collaboration with key partners and supporters, whose contributions have been marked by professionalism and commitment.
Dr. Al Buainain commended the team's efforts, noting that Reaya has become a leading national model in the field of social protection, and embodies the Kingdom's commitment to coordinated institutional action in fostering a safer and more equitable society.
