Assistant for Operations and Training Receives National Guard Team Participating in 9th Pakistan Army Team Spirit Competition 2026

Manama: His Highness Brigadier Shaikh Salman bin Mohammed bin Isa Al Khalifa, Assistant for Operations and Training, received the commander and members of the National Guard team that participated in the 9th Pakistan Army Team Spirit Competition 2026, winning the gold medal in the competition. The competition was organised by the Pakistan Army with the participation of 17 countries.

According to Bahrain News Agency, HH Shaikh Salman bin Mohammed conveyed the congratulations of His Highness General Shaikh Mohammed bin Isa Al Khalifa, Commander of the National Guard, and Lieutenant General Shaikh Abdulaziz bin Saud Al Khalifa, the National Guard Staff Director. His Highness congratulated the team on their achievement and performance, which adds to the National Guard’s record in local and international sporting events, and called for continued attention to sport.

HH Shaikh Salman bin Mohammed said that the National Guard command gives great importance to sport, reflected in the formation of several teams representing the Kingdom of Bahrain and the National Guard in local and international competitions. His Highness noted that Bahrain’s sporting achievements are the result of the ongoing support of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and Prime Minister, which has contributed to the National Guard’s development in its sporting participation.
