Adel bin Abdulrahman Al Asoomi, Arab Parliament Speaker, welcomed the beginning of the United Nations’ operation to unload 1.14 million barrels of oil from the “Safer” tanker off the coast of Yemen.
The speaker emphasized the importance of this step in preventing an environmental disaster in the Red Sea, calling on the international community to provide all necessary support.
He praised the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center for its $10 million donation last year.
