Arab League Secretary General Urges Gaza Reconstruction with Palestinian Rights Upheld

Abu Dhabi: Ahmed Aboul Gheit, Secretary General of the Arab League, participated in the extraordinary Arab League Summit held today in Egypt's Administrative Capital. In his address, he stressed that reviving Gaza is a struggle undertaken in support of Palestinian rights, emphasising that reconstruction can only happen if its people remain on their land in a secure and stable environment.

According to Middle East News Agency (MENA), Aboul Gheit described the summit as a critical moment in the history of the Palestinian cause. He noted that the Palestinian people have endured historic injustice that cannot continue and stressed that they must not be uprooted from their land while the world looks on without taking meaningful action.

Aboul Gheit emphasised that the summit's message is clear, stressing that the Palestinian people must not endure another catastrophe. He underscored the importance of upholding their right to independence, freedom, and a dignified life, as well as their right to self-determination, like all other nations.
