Manama: The American Chamber of Commerce in Bahrain (AmCham Bahrain) recently held its annual meeting under the theme "Bahrain-U.S. Relations: Looking Toward the Future." The event was attended by Abdullah bin Adel Fakhro, the Minister of Industry and Commerce, alongside senior officials, business leaders, and members who convened to discuss the burgeoning partnership between Bahrain and the United States.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Minister Fakhro commended AmCham Bahrain for its pivotal role in strengthening investment ties between the two nations. He highlighted the Comprehensive Security Integration and Prosperity Agreement (C-SIPA) as a significant milestone in advancing economic and security cooperation.
AmCham President Qais Hatim Al Zubi reported a 7% increase in membership and emphasized the organization's efforts in promoting trade and strengthening bilateral partnerships. Over the past year, AmCham Bahrain has organized more than 40 events and initiatives aimed at fostering economic collaboration.
The meeting concluded with expressions of gratitude to sponsors, including WestPoint Home Bahrain and Chevron, for their ongoing support in enhancing Bahrain-U.S. economic relations.
