Ambassador Zainal Attends 163rd Arab League Session in Cairo

Cairo: Fawzia bint Abdulla Zainal, Ambassador of Bahrain to Egypt and Permanent Representative to the League of Arab States, participated in the 163rd ordinary session of the Council of the League of Arab States at the level of permanent representatives. The meeting focused on several key issues affecting the Arab world.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the session included the handing over of the presidency of the Council from the Republic of Yemen to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. Jordan will preside over the 163rd session of the Council. The Council approved the draft agenda and draft resolutions, which will be submitted to the Council at the ministerial level.

During the meeting, Ambassador Zainal engaged in discussions on promoting joint Arab action, the Palestinian cause, and the Arab-Israeli conflict. Other topics on the agenda included Arab national security, Arab international cooperation, and the economic, political, and social affairs of Arab countries.
