Manama: Dr. Shaikh Abdullah bin Rashid Al Khalifa, Ambassador to the United States, participated in a panel discussion at the Concordia Summit titled "Technology, Governance and Diplomacy: Navigating Change in the Gulf and MENA," held on the sidelines of the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly.
According to Bahrain News Agency, The Ambassador affirmed Bahrain's commitment, under the vision of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the guidance of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to advancing comprehensive development and economic diversification, strengthening the national economy's resilience and ability to sustain activity and growth amid changing circumstances.
Shaikh Abdullah bin Rashid also highlighted the strength of the strategic partnership between Bahrain and the United States, with particular emphasis on the Comprehensive Security Integration and Prosperity Agreement (C-SIPA) as an important strategic framework reflecting the depth of the Bahrain-US partnership and supporting cooperation in security, defence, economy and technology.
The Ambassador underscored that regional security and prosperity require continued close coordination and cooperation between GCC countries and their international partners, stressing the importance of trusted partnerships and joint efforts in addressing the changes shaping the region.
