Riyadh: Shaikh Ali bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to Saudi Arabia, met with Jassim Al Shirawi, Secretary General of the International Energy Forum (IEF). During the meeting, Shaikh Ali bin Abdulrahman congratulated Al Shirawi on his appointment, highlighting that he is the first official from the Middle East and North Africa to hold the position, reflecting the distinguished standing of Bahraini and regional expertise in the energy sector.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the two officials discussed ways to enhance cooperation between Bahrain and the IEF. They reviewed joint efforts to support global dialogue on energy and sustainability. This meeting underscored the importance of collaboration in addressing global energy challenges and promoting sustainable solutions across the region.
