Cairo: Fawzia bint Abdulla Zainal, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the Arab Republic of Egypt and Permanent Representative to the Arab League, chaired the meeting of the Follow-up Committee on the Implementation of Decisions and Commitments at the level of permanent representatives. The meeting focused on reviewing a report concerning the implementation of decisions and commitments from the 33rd Arab Summit.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the committee at the level of permanent representatives includes the Kingdom of Bahrain as Chair of the 33rd Summit, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as Chair of the 32nd Summit, and the Republic of Iraq as Chair of the upcoming 34th Summit. The meeting also saw participation from the Troika of the Arab League Council at the level of permanent representatives and senior officials. The Troika features the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan as Chair of the 163rd session, the Republic of Yemen as Chair of the 162nd session, and the United Arab Emirates as the future Chair of the 164th session.
