Ambassador of Bahrain Meets French Parliamentarians to Discuss Regional Security

Paris: Issa Abdulaziz Al Jassim, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the French Republic, met with several French parliamentarians at the French National Assembly to discuss recent regional developments.

According to Bahrain News Agency, during the meeting, the Ambassador provided a briefing on developments concerning Iranian attacks targeting the Kingdom of Bahrain. He expressed appreciation for France's stance condemning these attacks and emphasized the importance of maintaining regional security and stability.

The Ambassador outlined that Bahrain has been subjected to attacks involving missiles and drones, which targeted vital facilities and civilian areas. These attacks have resulted in casualties, injuries, and damage to infrastructure, as well as posing a threat to maritime security in the Arabian Gulf and the Strait of Hormuz.

The French parliamentarians showed interest in understanding Bahrain's perspective and reiterated their commitment to strengthening cooperation between the two countries. They also emphasized the importance of exploring ways through which the French Parliament can contribute to supporting regional stability.

The meeting is part of ongoing efforts to enhance dialogue and consultation between both sides, aiming to support political solutions and promote security and peace in the region.
